These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the AdPolish website and analysis tool. By using AdPolish, you agree to these Terms.
1. About AdPolish
AdPolish is a free web-based tool that analyses education job adverts and provides automated feedback, scoring, and recommendations.
The tool is provided “as is” and is intended for organisational recruitment content only.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree that you will:
- Submit only job advert content for analysis.
- Not submit personal data (PII), including names of staff, applicants, CVs, personal phone numbers, or home addresses.
- Not upload malicious files or attempt to disrupt the service.
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or automate access to the platform.
Role-based work contact details (e.g. hr@trust.org.uk) are permitted.
We reserve the right to block or restrict access if misuse is detected.
3. No Legal or Recruitment Advice
AdPolish provides automated analysis for guidance purposes only.
The output does not constitute:
- Legal advice
- HR consultancy advice
- Safeguarding compliance certification
You remain responsible for ensuring your advert complies with all relevant laws, including safeguarding and employment legislation.
4. Accuracy and AI Limitations
AdPolish uses automated rules and artificial intelligence to generate insights. While we aim for high accuracy, results may contain errors or omissions.
We do not guarantee:
- That all compliance issues will be identified
- That suggested wording is legally complete
- That scoring reflects external regulator standards
You should independently review all recommendations before publishing an advert.
5. Data Handling
Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Submitted advert text may be temporarily stored for up to 180 days for performance monitoring and system integrity.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of any advert text you submit.
AdPolish retains ownership of:
- The platform software
- Scoring methodology
- Rule sets and analysis framework
- Generated output formatting and structure
You may use the generated analysis for internal recruitment purposes. You may not resell, white-label, or commercially exploit the tool output without written permission.
7. Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
We may:
- Modify features
- Update scoring rules
- Suspend or withdraw the service
without prior notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AdPolish and its operators shall not be liable for:
- Recruitment decisions made based on tool output
- Loss of income, data, or reputation
- Indirect or consequential losses
Our total liability in connection with your use of the free service shall not exceed £100.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AdPolish from any claims arising from:
- Submission of prohibited content
- Inclusion of personal data against our instructions
- Misuse of the platform
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
